Watertown Girls Varsity Swimming and Diving Team Gives Back and Builds Team Spirit

The Watertown Girls Varsity Swimming and Diving team kicked off the season with a pair of meaningful activities that demonstrated both community service and team camaraderie. On August 25, team members volunteered at the Welcome Back Watertown event, helping stuff 800 backpacks with school supplies for local students and families.

The following day, the team continued its annual tradition of team building with a kayak trip at Forestport Mill Pond in partnership with the Black River Outdoor Education Program (BROEP). The outing provided athletes an opportunity to strengthen relationships, build teamwork, and enjoy time together outside of the pool as they prepare for the upcoming season.
