Canastota freshman golfer Christina McClure had a night to remember on the course Wednesday, recording a hole-in-one during a match against Holland Patent at Kanon Valley Country Club.

McClure aced the 132-yard par-3 eighth hole, sending her tee shot directly into the cup, a once-in-a-lifetime achievement, and even more remarkable for a freshman competing in her first high school season.

In addition to the hole-in-one, McClure turned in the top score for Canastota in the matchup, helping lead the Raiders' effort against a strong Holland Patent squad. Her performance highlighted a solid all-around night for the freshman, who continues to establish herself as a consistent contributor to the Canastota girls' golf program.
