CHITTENANGO, N.Y. — April 30, 2026
Chittenango senior goalie Connor Bradbury reached a major career milestone on Thursday, April 30, recording the 500th save of his varsity career in the Bears’ 16–6 win over Holland Patent.
Bradbury delivered a strong performance in the cage, turning aside multiple scoring chances and helping Chittenango control the pace of play throughout the contest. His work between the pipes limited Holland Patent’s offensive opportunities and kept momentum firmly on the Bears’ side as they built a comfortable lead.
The milestone save came during a key stretch of play as Holland Patent looked to find an offensive rhythm, but Bradbury’s quick reactions and positioning shut down the scoring chance. His effort was a critical part of Chittenango holding Holland Patent to just six goals and securing a convincing victory.
Now in his senior season, Bradbury’s 500-save milestone highlights the impact he has made over the course of his varsity career. Serving as Chittenango’s last line of defense, he has faced a steady volume of shots across multiple seasons while providing the Bears with reliable goaltending night in and night out.
Bradbury’s career totals speak to both his durability and performance at one of the most demanding positions on the field. Reaching 500 saves places him among the most productive goalies in program history, a reflection of the trust placed in him by the coaching staff and his ability to rise to the challenge against strong competition.
As he closes out his high school career, Bradbury’s milestone serves as a testament to years of preparation, consistency, and resilience. The 500th save is not just a number on the stat sheet, but a reflection of the lasting impact he has had on the Chittenango Boys Lacrosse program.
