Camden’s Abby Hebble Reaches 100th Career Varsity Strikeout

CAMDEN, N.Y. — April 28, 2026

Camden sophomore Abby Hebble reached a career milestone on Tuesday, April 28, logging the 100th varsity strikeout of her career during Camden’s road matchup against Central Valley Academy.

In the contest, Hebble worked 5.1 innings in the circle, striking out six batters against a strong Central Valley lineup. The milestone strikeout highlighted her continued development as one of Camden’s most dependable pitching options despite the challenging matchup. Hebble also contributed offensively, batting .200 at the plate with a single and scoring a run.

Across three varsity seasons, and only two as a pitcher, she has compiled 100+ career strikeouts, reaching the mark before the end of April. A testament to her consistency and durability in the pitching circle.

During the 2025–26 season, Hebble has appeared extensively as a pitcher, posting 23.1 innings pitched with 22 strikeouts while sharing pitching duties for the Blue Devils. Her ability to generate swings and misses continues to improve as she gains experience against varsity hitters.

At the plate, Hebble has developed into a reliable offensive contributor as well. Through April of her sophomore year, she owns a .355 batting average, collecting 11 hits, 8 RBIs, and 11 runs scored so far this season.

Looking at her career numbers, Hebble’s consistency truly stands out. Pitching, she has a career ERA of 3.08 with 143.1 innings pitched. At the plate, she has totaled 63 hits, 41 RBI, and 52 runs scored across her varsity career, along with a .368 career batting average and .485 slugging percentage. As a sophomore already reaching significant pitching milestones while continuing to produce offensively, Hebble’s trajectory points toward an impactful next two seasons for Camden.
