To celebrate Earth Day on Wednesday, April 22, the Canastota boys’ track team spent practice time giving back to their community. The team ran to Zems Ice Cream, Miniature Golf & Game Room to support a local business, and along the way back, they pitched in to clean up garbage throughout the village. Trash was collected from roadsides, bushes, creeks, and the canal, helping make Canastota a cleaner and more beautiful place. It was a meaningful way for the team to show appreciation for the community’s continued support.
